Cold Went for a little ride tonight. It's starting to cool down. Forecast is for chilly temps for the next couple of weeks. I'm going to order some bike pogies for the Pugs tomorrow. They call them bike toasties in the link above. They are basically a big pocket for your handlebars. Should help keep the digits warm on longer rides. Also I'm going to try and bike or walk everywhere. Except when I go out of town. I might even bike then as well. I started on Monday, and it really isn't that bad. Just takes a little bit of planning. We'll see how long I make it. Any guesses out there? Not much else going on. I'll try and post more bike pictures now that I got it figured out. Goodnight.

Don't order from AK until you look at the ATV overmitts at Cabela's. I'm sure they even sent you a gift card. pw

When are you planning on walking to Sun Prairie?

We have to plan our winter training camp. ;)

if you look up are you looking at me? For I am the one that can see, see the sea, for the sea is my love, and to take that love, is to take a life, the life that I once loved.

Thanks Pat. You just saved me $60. Now I can buy a good pair of warm shoes to walk to Brian's. Yes, we should talk about schedules and a training camp when you are in town for the Holidays. Lane are you drinking on the job again. Sounds like "Brandy" by Looking Glass doesn't it Brian.

Hey Dave,
I thought I was crazy. Well, I don't quite have the right bike or gear to do any biking in TRF this winter. I do plan to start running a couple times a week once I get some new insoles for my shoes. I love runs on fresh snow, with a bit of cold air waking you the hell up. I guess we probably share a similar pride, its the kind of pride you feel when you're out in cold weather and doing something out of the ordinary and people are wondering "what the hell?" as they pass you, and you kindly want to tell them, "Why not?"
