I figure it's time for a new post. I have nothing new to talk about, but I don't want to end up in Brooks' blogs of shame. I've been obsessed with trying to figure out ways to improve the Pugsley for next year's Arrowhead 135. I've got some good ideas so far. While searching MTBR for inspiration I found this picture that I thought was very post worthy. Dave Gray from Surly posted it on one of the Pugsley threads. Very cool.

You could even mount a full blown set of tire chains on that bad boy! Sweet!

Is that a pic of us from TR?

The look of the little guy sums up how Jim and I felt as you rode by that evening on the AH. I'm sure I told Jim, "Man, if that guy has tires that big, imagine the size of his hands".

You've got to have ideas when you see that fork. Looks really easy to put all your gear on the front.

A few year back there was a hanebrink bike that used quad tires..

May be time to try that again =)

While plowing threw the thorns and rocks that make up TexAss trails I kept thinking, thank God for Stan's. I don't know how much it would take to be useful in an Endo' but I cringe at the amount of CO2 or mini-pumpin to fix a flat on the Pug. I'm not sure how useful Stan's is when it's 30 below either.
